Let me introduce myself.

My name is Angela K. De
Haan-Lovaas. I was born and raised on a ranch just outside
of Bozeman, Montana. I have always had a strong love of
all animals and being outdoors. I graduated from High
School in 1994 and went directly to Montana State University and
obtained a teaching degree in Technology Education with a Health
Education minor.
After many years of being
in and around the water (swimming and waterskiing) one of my
closest friends finally convinced me to get my Lifeguard
Certification. Once I completed the course and was hired
on at the Bozeman Swim Center and Recreation Department, I
became interested in the water fitness classes.
After a short time I was
trained to instruct the classes on my own. After
my initial training in water fitness I completed a certification course. Since
completing my first certification I have completed several
certification courses within the aquatic fitness and water
professional arenas. My certifications include:
- Aquatic Group
Fitness Instructor--Exercise Science Alliance
- Adaptive Fitness
Training for Adults with Chronic Conditions--Exercise
Science Alliance
- Aquatic Therapy

- Sports Nutrition

- WaterART
Fundamentals Instructor--WaterART Fitness
- WaterART Senior
and Special Populations Certification--WaterART Fitness
- Lifeguard

- CPR/First Aid

Besides all of my work in
and around the water, I enjoy woodworking , riding horse, and
just being outdoors in general. Much of my spare time is
spent at my family's ranch with my husband.
